Connect
THE PROBLEM
Over the past few decades, higher education has experienced a dramatic expansion, such that in the last few years, approximately 20% of age-appropriate people were enrolled in some form of tertiary education. Many universities experienced budgetary deficits and in order to cope with lack of budget they realized the cost efficiency by having large class enrollments. The student perspective in large classes is mostly a feeling of isolation from support measures and anonymity, with a resulting decrease in motivation. On top of this, Covid 19 and quarantines from time to time increases the loneliness feeling. Students find it difficult to connect to other students and to collaborate on their studies. First year students find it tough to approach another student or even just ask a question about class.
THE SOLUTION
I interviewed several students and sent questioners to students across different universities and heard their stress about socializing and how complicated it's for them to collaborate with other students on their studies.
Students also mentioned they don't feel safe using the social apps for their studies and having a way to connect with their peers within the campus app would make their learning experience better and forge deep sense of community . I created a flow to solve their pain points regarding connecting easily with other students and study collaboration and got their feedback recorded on video calls. Students asked to keep this feature available not only for existing students, but also later on for alumni... Below are some of the screenshots in the connect feature.

Maps
THE PROBLEM
Finding your way through is not an easy mission when need to get to the next class within 5 mins. University's campus is complex and finding your way through so many buildings and academic departments is not easy task also for students who are familiar with the university. Besides finding the classroom within a building students can reach a class and find out there are no more PC's left in the room. Other information such as opening hours when finding the closest cafeteria or bus-time schedule when going to the bus-stop is needed when bus is about to pass by in the next 2 minutes.
THE SOLUTION
We created the university map, where a student not only find the science building for his/her next class, but also provides more information about the specific location, such as the bus time table when looking for the bus stop, the next Yoga class, when searching for the nearby park and accessibility details regarding the campus theater to make sure it fits the student's need, PC's availabilty in the library and more...

Task Board
THE PROBLEM
During their studies, students have lots of tasks, however many students struggle with finding the time to complete all their assignments, leading to overwhelming feelings of stress and frustration. They have a problem with keeping track of all their assignments and meet due dates and find it hard to prioritize their to-do's and break them down big assignments into small subtasks. Therefore, we wanted to help students prioritize tasks so they will able to complete assignments on time and becoming better with managing their time.
THE SOLUTION
The Task-Board feature allows students to become more organized, more confident, and learn more effectively. It can also help students avoid the dreaded procrastination problem, which can be a slippery slope to stress, frustration, and poor grades. With the Task-Board, students can create their own tasks from scratch, set due dates with a notification to remind them about it or having the ability to create subtasks and break one big assignment into small friendlier subtasks. Once they open the app they will see their current tasks and they will able to mark ones they completed and remove it from their list.

UI Enhancement
From time to time in campusM we need new templates depends on the occasions in the university. I explore different options that match the client's request here below is just one example.

Illustrating
I love sketching... so when there's an opportunity I prefer to avoid stock illustrations and create ones that will be a prefect fit and unique that will be the face of the app.
